ROTAX Cylinder & Piston Update
Following an update from BRP-ROTAX in Austria and JAG ROTAX UK, we have been informed that the current ROTAX cylinder is being discontinued and a new cylinder and piston will be introduced.
We are awaiting official confirmation of all the finer details, but we are working closely with both ROTAX and JAG to clarify all the specifics. We will share further updates as soon as more details are confirmed.
2027 Rotax Plasma Cylinder – PRE-ORDER
Following various ongoing meetings with JAG ROTAX UK we are now able to start taking pre-orders for the new 2027 ROTAX Plasma Cylinder and relocated Piston for all ROTAX Classes.
ROTAX are offering a 45% discount on the price of the cylinder for the first few months. If you would like to receive one of the first cylinders and pistons for your engine please complete the form on this page.
Engines purchased from JAG after 1st July 2026 will qualify for a FREE cylinder. If you think your engine falls into this category we still ask that you submit your pre-order. We will confirm your engine is eligible for this via a phone call.
A start date for when the new parts can be raced is yet to be confirmed however we understand they may be introduced from 31st January 2027.
All requests will be dealt with on a first come, first served bases.

In our bespoke dyno room, we have had our ducting designed and specifically fabricated for us, allowing us to balance room pressures and airflows. Our airbox airflow management also allows us to simulate real-world racing conditions to extract the best performance. These results are correlated from on track data across different venues. Our approach ensures your engine is optimised for peak power, reliability, and consistency.
